Kuuy Nahwa’a is a Tongva people’s concept meaning guest exchange. It is a voluntary contribution to support Tongva-led Land Back efforts, acknowledging both relationships and reciprocity to the lands and Native Peoples of Tovaangar.

At TTPC, programming supports the many communities we serve. Our ceremonies and cultural gatherings are held for Tongva people and Native relatives, providing opportunities to honor kinship and tradition. Educational events, volunteer education days, and community programming are open to all who wish to steward the land with reciprocity and care and learn and engage in a good way. We welcome the Native community, the Indigenous diaspora, and Kuuyam (guests) alike.
