Culture, Ceremony, and Arts
Quarterly Ceremonies are held at Huhuunga, gathering Tongva people and Native relatives to share songs, blessings, and stories.
Gabrielino/Tongva ceremony is open to all our Native relatives and families. Our intention is to create a welcoming space grounded in responsibility to the land, our ancestors, and future generations.
Because ceremonies are held in that spirit of kinship and ancestral responsibility, they are not open to the general public at this time.

TTPC builds leadership pathways for young people and emerging professionals. Our programs offer hands-on experiences, mentorship, civic engagement, and direct investment in community-led projects, building both individual capacity and a growing network of support.
At TTPC, programming supports our purpose of convening Tongva people, supporting ceremony and cultural practices, and stewarding the land with reciprocity and care.
We welcome Tongva community, Native relatives, and neighbors to Huhuunga as a welcoming, inclusive space for all who wish to learn and engage in a good way.
Our programming centers on four areas: Ceremony and Cultural Practice for the Native community, Community Education for the general public, opportunities for Emerging Leaders, and Land Stewardship that integrates Traditional Ecological Knowledge.
Community Education
Open to the public, community education events strengthen participants’ relationship with and knowledge of Native people and the land through onsite, virtual, and community-based programming.
These events share TEK, food sovereignty, California Native history, and contemporary art and culture in an accessible format for anyone who is willing to learn and engage in a good way.
Emerging Leaders
Land Stewardship
Stewardship programming allows us to share Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK) with the community and care for the land with intention. Activities include hands-on learning experiences, Volunteer Education Days, and webinars.
